BACKGROUND:

Why or how I came about with such an idea or initiative?

Our church laptop developed a fault just a day after it was fixed so the following morning which was a Sunday,my brother and I sent it to the repairer before church service starts. I then decided to see him off. He was going for 1st , 2nd and 3rd Services whiles I was gonna go for just 2nd and 3rd Services. *don’t ask why 😉😉😉*

So my plan was to see him off a lil further then return home to prepare for 2nd Service. As we were walking, we decided to talk about issues,plans and almost everything. One of the things we spoke more about was his business, TiE COLLEGE; the way forward, expansion, growing his client or customer base, etc. So as we were walking and discussing; just there and then, the idea and phrase just popped out “Support a Bro”.

I felt since my blog has a few dedicated followers like yourself (Trust me; you are very special to me) and social media presence, why don’t I support my brother in my own way by writing and promoting his business. The little I can do, why don’t I do it. We spoke and spoke and spoke before realizing we’d gotten to the church premises. I then returned thinking about the idea and how I was gonna execute it. As I kept thinking and pondering over it, I decided to dedicate just A MONTH and also not only feature just his business but also get other businesses and make it a weekly kinda thing only for the month of NOVEMBER. So every week in November, I feature one business and promote it in my own way. The 1st 3 businesses that came in mind were;
TiE COLLEGE; SKOF; SUGAR FREE.

SO HERE WE ARE TODAY FEATURING THE PERSON WHOSE DISCUSSION BROUGHT ABOUT THIS IDEA.

He is the C.E.O. of lots of businesses but our main focus for today is TiE COLLEGE but before we talk about TiE COLLEGE, Let’s get to know a lil bit about him[his background].

He goes by the name Paul Nana Kwesi Agyeman Boadu a.k.a. PAUL WEALTH. He is the only son of his parents with 7 step sisters. Akosombo, a small town in the south of the Asuogyaman District, Eastern Region, Ghana was his birth town but he comes from Adukrom, also in the Eastern region of Ghana[This wonderful town houses famous secondary schools like Nifa Secondary School and Adukrom Secondary Technical School].

He had both primary and nursery education at Akuse Grade School and after had his JHS education at V.R.A. Complex No. 2 then continued his Senior High School education  at Akwamuman Senior High School were he offered Business, then to University of Ghana, Legon[Ghana's premier University] where he obtained his first degree.

Paul Wealth, C.E.O. of TiE COLLEGE
That’s basically about the C.E.O. Now, let’s talk about.........TiE COLLEGE.

“In the piece below, Paul Wealth details WHY TIES, HOW HE GOT THE NAME, HOW HE STARTED and HIS EXPERIENCES SO FAR – ENJOY READING”

“Why Ties and how I got the name?????? WOW...Ok, it was on a faithful Sunday after church service and during our usual meeting with our dear Pastor, Rev. Isaac Talent Yeboah, he chipped in the idea of one having his/her own business with the reason being that we will able to have time for the things of the Lord;
He mostly talks of that so that day was another day to re-echo what he has been saying. He then made the statement “You can even sell ties, because this is a tie church” And that was when I caught the idea of selling ties.

So since that day [meeting] I started thinking of the name to brand that idea. It took me a week to come up with the name TiE COLLEGE

The name COLLEGE came up because the vision I have was to sell varieties of Ties and it’s accessories so likewise a college being an educational institution that provides a higher form of education and not forgetting it’s highly and recognized awarding power, I then decided to merge both names that came up as TiE COLLEGE; to provide high quality of various ties and its accessories. I must say TiE COLLEGE is a world on its own.

I started in MARCH, 2017 but it’s funny HOW IT ALL STARTED. The name and it’s design were ready BUT NO CAPITAL. With high hopes; not long after that, the carrier bags (poly bags) were also ready then I later on got the Ties. That reminds me, the actually place I had in mind to get the Ties from didn’t work out but then I didn’t give up. I tried my plan B, which was a different place. I was welcomed and treated like a brother by the man.

MY EXPERIENCES!!! My pleasant moment was when I had my first client outside Accra[Kumasi to be precise], buying more than three ties. The joy was my product getting to Kumasi. Was so glad.

UNPLEASANT MOMENT???? Hmmm Well, I wouldn’t say i haven’t faced or experienced any unpleasant moment(s) but I just considered all, thus both good and bad as things that are to happen since it’s part of business. I quite remember a client who happens to work in one of the ‘big’ banks told me to bring more ties for his boss and other co-workers to have a look after he told them about it. When I sent the ties, I was told that wasn’t the ties they were expecting, only one tie was bought at a price they preferred."

TiE COLLEGE, just what you wanted !!!!!
