MOTHER'S DAY #WhatIsThereSeries

This Edition of DIARY OF THE LABADI BOY is a special one which is to celebrate all MOTHERS[and POTENTIAL MOTHERS] for their LOVE, SELFLESS EFFORTS, SACRIFICES and HUSTLE. THEY ARE SPECIAL AND THEY DESERVE ALL THE ACCOLADES AND RECOGNITION THIS WORLD CAN OFFER.

MY MUM! MY MUM!! MY MUM!!! My mum is like a sister to me; Someone I share my problems and plans with. She’s that type of person I sit and chat without she shouting or getting angry with me at the least mistake I make. Ei, WAIT WAIT WAIT πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚….She shouts at me sometimes when I leave the bowls or plates unwashed after eating, when I make the room dirty with my books, when I take her money/coins etc.....Hahahaha but it's cool.......Till now, she still washes my clothes for me.
AND OH, when it comes to working hard, there's none like her. This woman works from 1st January to 31st December; NO OFF DAYS or REST.

Momma

THANK GOD FOR HER LIFE [MRS. EMELIA OTUMLE ARYEETEY].

Surprisingly, I woke up very early and as I was thinking about my mum and the whole MOTHER'S DAY "thing", I decided to ask a couple of my friends to write something little about their mum and it was something else mehn. I was overwhelmed by the response and replies I got. I could visualize and see in my mind’s eye as I read through.

These are a few of them:

ELLIS KHOBBY WELLS writes;
My mom is one of the best. I know there are other mothers who are good too but I like my mum how she is. She has a heart of gold, she is beyond caring and her food even if you are allergic, you will find yourself eating. She always treats me like her husband; my dad used to be jealous then πŸ˜‚.
I remember sometime back my mum cried on my shoulder when my dad kicked the bucket; Well, we share both sadness and happiness together. That's why I see my mum as amazing and the best; through all this hardship she never abandoned us...NEVER

She was going out sometime back and I asked, "Mum, where are you going?" her reply was "I'm going to your father's house". (With that voice when you spoil her mood πŸ˜†)

ME: Is my haircut nice, mum? 😊😊
MUM: YES but let it come down a little; that one too suits you.
********************
ME:  You have money oooooo
MUM: I'm keeping it for a friend… (She is that friend Naah)

BAABA SAGUA EGHAN writes;
MY MUM, MY FATHER, she’s ……… [I don’t know any word that can describe her]. I can die for her, I know it!!!! πŸ’“
I remember how my mum always wanted me to be in the aviation field which she succeeded anyway. So one time when she was traveling outside the country, luckily enough I was working that day so I took her through all the processes and even took her inside the aircraft. She couldn’t stop tearing up and telling basically everybody that had an eye contact with her that and I quote “me ba nyi oo, end3 dze m’ay3 boss” meaning “that’s my daughter, today I’m the boss” πŸ˜„

N.A.S.O.A.L. writes;
Mama [That's how I call her]
Well, Mama is one of the greatest people God has blessed me with.
Mama loves me and I love her too... I'm really free with her to the extent that I can tell her almost everything.
Mama is a role model, hardworking, caring, strong, beautiful, intelligent and above all God fearing.

Lemme share one funny incident😊
I quite remember way back in my childhood days, Mama warned us never to light matches in the hall, room or anywhere. But as stubborn as I was I gave it a try knowing what would happen if I did that. That day I spent my whole day in the toilet πŸ™ˆ... To be continued... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I love my mama and God bless her so much❤❤

JEPHY AFANYIBO (mummy's baby) writes [in French];
Maman...  Shine shine babyyy... Maman Eveline Sylviane Adjoavi Afanyibo I say Ayekooo for everything!!!!.... God bless you!!!
Je t'aime, Gloria t'aime, Manou t'aime, Papa t'aime, tout le monde t'aime ❤❤

AND this one was more of a letter……WOW WOW WOW

WILHELMINA JANET GERALDO writes,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY Mrs. Susan Esi Geraldo, God bless you sooo much. You are one of the mothers who are sooo selfless and will go every mile to push her children to greater heights. Today being mother’s day is a remarkable day which I’m not permitted to keep quiet. I want to talk too but I’m speechless; you gave me water to drink while you were thirsty, food to eat while you were hungry, you stood all night long to make me sleep whiles you haven't slept the whole day with sooo much stress.

Mummy, you never gave up on me under no circumstance, you went through the thick and thin to see me prosperous, my pain was your pain, my tears you couldn't resist. Some mothers are within words description but to me you are second to none, words can't describe you; you gave me your clothes while you go naked. I wish to see you or give you a phone call to tell how special you are to me but nature didn’t permit me. I believe you can see my heart and read the meaning of every moment I wish to see you.
I LOVE YOU MUMMY πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“
